The LCCB has entered two ensembles in the National Ensemble Championships.
Yuki Takahashi (flute), Greta Davis (oboe), Toni Doyle (clarinet) and David Braybrook (clarinet) have entered the Open Quartet section and will be playing two pieces arranged for woodwind quartet by Laszlo Zempleni: Waltz by Edvard Grieg and Hungarian Folksong by Lajos Bardos
Michel Collogan, Visnja Kosanovic, Sue Burnett, Patty Jansen and Yuki Takahashi are entering a flute group in the open Quintet section. They will be playing Concerto No. 3 for Five Flutes, Movements 1 & 2 by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier
Both groups are playing on Monday 6 April in Hall 3 – Reginald Theatre at the Seymour Centre
The event begins at 8:30 am. Tickets are $15/$10.
