About Megan Lipworth

Megan Lipworth is an experienced musician and conductor who has worked both nationally and internationally as a percussionist at events such as the Montreax Jazz Festival and North Sea Jazz Festival.

Along with conducting Megan has experience in piano, clarinet, guitar, ukulele, jazz vibraphone and orchestral percussion.

Megan was the winner of the 2020 Cliff Goodchild Scholarship for professional development and has worked as program director and conductor for local primary and high schools as well as Bondi Brass. Megan has completed both a Bachelor of Arts degree (Macquarie University) and Bachelor of Music Studies (Conservatorium of Music, Sydney).

Megan is a founding member and lead singer of early childhood group ’Tiptoe Giants’ and a member of the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and Festival choruses. 


Megan was appointed the Music Director of Turrumburra Concert Band in February 2020.
