About Us

The Lane Cove Concert Band comprises of a group of enthusiastic woodwind, brass and percussion players of all ages with an average playing standard of 5th grade AMEB.

Potential new players are most welcome to attend rehearsals.

The Band performs regularly in the lower north shore area of Sydney.

The LCCB was formed in 1963 and incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act in 1984 and is run by a committee of its members.

LCCB acknowledges the generous support of Lane Cove Municipal Council and Lane Cove Rotary Club.

REHEARSALS

When: The Band rehearses from 7:30pm to 9:45pm each Thursday during the public school terms.
Members are requested to arrive at 7:15pm to help set up so that rehearsals can start promptly at 7:30pm.

Where: The Cove Room in the Lane Cove Council building which is located at 48 Longueville Road
(corner of Little Street).

There is a large car park at the rear of the building and Sydney Buses Route 254 stops nearby for those catching public transport.
